ZaneHarris

Co-Founder and Creative Director/Brand Strategist

Christine Case

Co-Founder and Managing Director of Operations

Rob is, with no hesitation, the reason this business exists. Not only is he the person behind the recipes, the beans, and the cart–he’s the reason we all know each other! Rob is our resident mentor in the world of coffee, and his approach is novel and exciting. He’s a creative at heart, and that comes out in every cup of coffee we serve. Rob’s journey in coffee started in his other business, a shop called The Guild that specializes not just in coffee, but in board games and Dungeons & Dragons. It’s a community and event space in New Paltz that serves as a community hub as well. Before this he was a photographer and videographer that worked on music videos and events. He also snowboards, is a trained MMA fighter, a video game nerd, let’s see…he has a lot of hobbies. You should probably just ask him. rob@doubledare.coffee

Zane Harris co-founded Double Dare and leads its creative. He shapes how we look, how we sound, and what we put in your hands, from the logo to the packaging to the drops. When an idea comes up, Zane decides where it fits and how it connects to everything else we make. He brings 25+ years in spirits, hospitality, product and graphic design, working in New York, Seattle, Los Angeles and around the world. He led creative at Sire Spirits for Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and at The Cup Bearer. He has built design and beverage programs for the McKittrick Hotel, the Milk & Honey family of bars, and Southern Glazer's, and he designs glassware for Riedel. His work sits where hospitality, beverage, and art meet. At Double Dare, he does the same thing he's always done. He makes things people want to hold.

Christine is the anchor of our team, keeping our operations unified and our internal systems running at peak performance. She has architected our foundational workflows, translating our most complex creative sessions into structured, high-yield deliverables. Simply put, Christine brings order to our big ideas and ensures our business runs smoothly. Beyond her essential role here, Christine is a contemporary artist living and working in the Hudson Valley. Her painting practice builds on a strong foundation in fine art, including a BFA in Studio Art from Texas Tech University and more than ten years of experience in high-level NYC art logistics and administration. Today, she balances her time between driving our operational success, expanding her studio practice, and embracing country life—living tucked away in the woods where she tends to her vibrant garden and surrounding land. christine@doubledatr

Co-Founder

Kaya Mannis

Lead Marketing & Design Specialist

Jonathan Sherburne

Director of Sales & Outreach

Alex is an all-around thinker who helps direct the business and keep our margins right. He’s been focused on building out our brand new roastery, storage for our coffee carts, and creating our business model. He’s also deep into the coffee world, so his insights on bag design and sales guide us. He’s like our in-house test audience. A captive test audience.

Kaya is the creative engine of our team. She threads together all of our visions and concepts and brings them to life via multimodal projects that pop with color and life. From digital design to menus, video and photo content, and even our bag design – Kaya guides the brand. She’s also one of our very talented baristas, helping to craft specials and the drink experience. Kaya worked as a digital marketer all throughout college, bringing the brand of another coffee shop, The Guild, in New Paltz, NY to life. She’s been instrumental there, and graduated with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art. When she’s not at work she’s often traveling, taking photos, or spending time with her closest friends.

Jon is the person in charge of making connections at Double Dare. He meets with potential clients, businesses, and organizations to help bring our coffee to as many people as possible. All of our sales systems fall under him and he helps bring our values to life through each account. Jon has spent the last decade working in media production. He spent a majority of his early 20s as a podcast producer, working with comedians and studios to bring content to life. After a long trip out west, living mostly out of his car, he returned to the Hudson Valley and started working at an alternative nature school, where he’d spend two years developing programs and working in digital strategy. In that time he began doing community work and event organization as well, and eventually started doing it with us!
